Michael Antez Traevon Edwards

Michael Antez Travon Edwards was born on September 1st1998 in Rockford, IL. at Swedish American Hospital to Latasha Hinton and Michael Edwards Sr.

Michael attended Smackover High School where he participated in basketball, football, and track. He graduated in May of 2017.

After graduating high school Michael attended college at Arkansas Baptist in Little Rock. He was also employed with S&W Well Service during the summer. Michael was loving, caring, and had a heart of gold. He loved his family and cherished them. Michael moved to Arkansas when he was 9 months old, which makes him a lifelong resident.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mae Ola Hall and maternal aunts, Brenda Hinton and Patricia Burroughs.

Michael leaves to cherish his parents, Latasha Hinton ( Darryl Counter) of Smackover, AR. and Michael Edwards Sr., of Rockford IL; his son, Khylan Isaiah Edwards; grandmother, Barbara Mcadoo ( Timmy Mcadoo) of Smackover, AR; aunt,  Linda Hinton of Smackover, AR; four brothers, Antonio Burks, Ja’von Modica, Jaqueze Modica and KJ King all of Smackover, AR,  three sisters, Kionna Burks of Smackover, AR, Kiera Burks of Atlanta, GA and Decimika Simmons of Peoria, IL;  two nieces, Ne’Vaeh Burks and Mackenzie Burks of Eldorado, AR;  a special first cousin, Devarious Bell El Dorado, AR; one nephew, Jaston Burks of Camden, AR; two special friends, Dewayne Jones and Rico White, as well as,  a host of other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Public visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. and the family hour from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sims Mortuary Funeral services will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Smackover Auditorium.
