Glenda Johnson

June 19, 1956 — March 25, 2021

Sis. Glenda “Dean “Jonson was born to Cleveland Robinson Sr. and Virgie Mae Robinson on June 19, 1959, in Kermit, Texas. She was raised in Junction City, Arkansas, and later moved to El Dorado, Arkansas.

She departed this life on March 25, 2021, at her residence. She was a faithful, dedicated, and committed soldier serving as an Usher in the house of her Lord at St. James Baptist Church and with that same compassion for the friendship District Usher Ministry. Even when her health would not allow her to work, her heart forever wanted to return to work and serve as a doorkeeper for her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Sister Naomi Flowers, Brother Leon Robinson, and nephew Herbert Flowers Jr., Great Grandson Irunoes Jahiem Johnson

She leaves to cherish her memories of a loving daughter Ms. Nekita Johnson, and son Gregory Mosley both of El Dorado, Arkansas. Grandchildren that she loved and cherished, Randy Miller, Kadrina Glosson, Jaylen Martin, and Ny’Shun Martin, Four great-grandchildren; Ava Johnson, Bryson Miller, Ameena Johnson,  and ILaina Mims, all of El Dorado, Arkansas,  a bonus Granddaughter Sharaya, Three brothers Cleveland Robinson of Rosewell, New Mexico, Curtis Robinson of Odessa, Texas, and Donnie Robinson of El Dorado, Arkansas.

Her Pastor, Bishop George Calloway, and Alice Faye Calloway were very special and dear to her, and she loved her church family, St. James Baptist Church of El Dorado, Arkansas. A very Special stepdad Vergil Levingston of Junction City, Arkansas. A very Special God sister Mrs. Angela Mc Alphin of Monroe, La, and a best friend, Diane Noble of Texarkana, Arkansas. Her loving nieces, Beverly, Glenda, Santana, Kiara,Tracee, Jazz, Candance, Asia, Nicole, Shontara, Shalandra, and Trina,and Laila. Her loving nephews, Timmie, Jarvis, Herbert, TJ, and Kingston, loving best friend Janice Culp, Very special caretakers Philander Bradley and Jimmy Ford and a host of cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
