Xavier Quamonne Thrower

On February 1, 1994, a handsome son was born to George Thrower & Ka-ia Billings. 

At a very early age, Xavier accepted Christ as His Savior and united with the Beulah Grove Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas, under the leadership of Rev. Luther Harris.  He attended El Dorado High School through the tenth grade and later transferred to Parkers Chapel High School, where he graduated in 2012.   

“Poohman” as he was affectionally called by his family and close friends enjoyed life to the fullest.  His entrepreneurship was a process of discovering new ways of combining resources and taking value and ownership to launch growth.  Among his other qualities were playing basketball, football, rapping, and believing in himself as the “Master Chef”.  He would often cook a few of his favorite dishes and wanted others to try them.  He had a very caring heart and didn’t mind expressing his true feelings and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; George Thrower, his uncle; Richard Thrower, and his sister; Megan Presley.

Xavier transitioned from this life on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, Arkansas. 

His precious memories will be cherished by his mother; Ka-ia Billings of El Dorado, Arkansas.  Two sisters; Kynesha Harris of Conway, Arkansas, and Abriana Thomas of Ruston, Louisiana.  Two brothers; De’Lano Presley of Sherwood, Arkansas, and George Thrower, Jr. of El Dorado, Arkansas.  His maternal grandparents; Belinda Wayne of El Dorado, Arkansas, Kevin Billings (Shirley) of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Johnnie Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas. Paternal grandparents; Helen Westbrook of El Dorado, Arkansas, and George L. and Darlene Thrower of Crossett, Arkansas.  Goddaughter; Jaela Ramey of Strong, Arkansas, and Godfather; Tyrone White of Strong, Arkansas.  His aunts; Philander Bradley, Jennifer Barnes, Chantilly Westbrook all of El Dorado, Arkansas, Shronda Thrower-McDanials(Bobby), Thesha Thrower-Gaston(Jeff) both of Houston, Texas, Karrissa Rowton of Fort Worth, Texas, Markita Washington of Sherwood, Arkansas and Shacourtney Jerro(Mike) of Farmerville, Louisiana.  His uncles; Kevin Billings, Jr. of Kuwait, Cameron Rochelle (Chelsea) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Sharroderick Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas, Vedareon” Vet” Thrower(Tina) and Demetrich Lane “Dee” Thrower (Melaney), both of Houston, Texas.  He also leaves a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who love and will miss him dearly.
