Willie "Coonie" Lee Easter

Brother Willie Lee Easter was born to the parentage of Bender and Gertie Easter on September 21, 1939 in the Atlanta Community Emerson, Arkansas.  He departed this life at the Life Touch Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas on June 26, 2019.

He was a member of the Mt. Israel CME Church, Emerson, Arkansas. He attended McMittress School System.

He was an employee of the Ware Timber Company until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Gertha Easter Brooks, Selma Carrington and Ida Lee Easter; four brothers, Nelson Easter, Phillip Easter, Riley Easter and Willie C. Easter.

He leaves to cherish his memories to the Love of his Life of forty-three years, Tessie Lee Bass Easter; six daughters, Loretta (Jerry) Cowser, Three Creeks, Arkansas, Robbie Easter, Savannah, Georgia, Ruth (Wayne) Gilchrist, Renee (Rufus) Lewis, Erika Easter, all of Palm Springs, California and he helped raise Kristi (Rodney) McGhee, White Oak, Texas whom he loved as his own; two sons, Willie Edwards Easter, Palm Springs, California and Lucas Easter, Dodge City, Arkansas; two sisters, Elsie Mae Easter and Ever Jean Easter of Atlanta, Arkansas and one brother Henry Lee Easter Emerson, Arkansas . He also leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Public Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 1-5 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Union Arc Baptist Church. Interment will be at Union Arc Cemetery Junction City, Arkansas

Active Pallbearers will be Curtis Bass, Joshua Brown, Christopher Carrington, Fredrick Cowser, Winston Steward, Jr. and Nicholas Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bennie Bass, Dovie Bass, Terry Bass, Henry Lee Easter, Sylvester Robinson, and Doros Waller
