Wallace Wainright Jr.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, we said goodbye to a beloved father, brother, and entrepreneur, Wallace Wainright Jr. He was a man who navigated life with a unique blend of creativity and logic, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.

Wallace was born on October 15, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Wallace Sr. and Clasteen Wainright. Although born in Chicago, he was raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas, where he grew up surrounded by family and friends. A proud graduate of Stuttgart High School, he eventually returned to his birthplace, Chicago, to pursue higher education.

He believed deeply in the dignity of hard work and was known for his versatility. A man of many talents, he excelled as both a skilled printer and an accountant, providing clarity and guidance through his sharp intellect and attention to detail. As the owner of a custodial services business, he proved that no job was too small and no goal was too large when building a future for his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Sr. and Clasteen. His memory and wisdom will be kept alive by his wife, Joyce Wainright; his three children: Cory Wainright, Myeasha Wainright, and Derrick Wainright; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wainright and Jadaan Chaffee; and his two cherished great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Matthew Courtney. He also leaves behind his two siblings, Maurice and Christina Wainright, along with a host of extended family, grandchildren, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.
