Tommy Cobb Mosley Sr.

May 24, 1935 — January 18, 2019

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the cloud to meet the Lord and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   I Thessalonians 4:17

Brother T.C. Mosley was born on May 24, 1935 in El Dorado, AR to the late Freddie and Alma Bray Mosley.

He was called home to be with Lord and received his wings on Friday January 18, 2019 around 7:45 p.m. at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR.

T.C. was baptized at an early age and he loved the Lord. He loved his church family at Saint Paul A.M.E. and they knew his favorite seat was sitting on the front pew on the righthand side on the end.

T.C. received his education at Washington High and worked as a Spot Welder and did warehouse work.

T.C. loved to go fishing when his sons would come down to visit from Dallas. Although, they might not have caught anything they all enjoyed spending time together laughing and talking about old times.

T.C. was united In Holy Matrimony to Dolline Sledge and to this union 10 children were born.

Later, T.C. was united in Holy Matrimony to Annie Ruth Bluford for “45” years and to this union 2 children were born.

Brother Mosley was preceded in death by his parents Freddie and Alma Mosley; two sons Rev. Clarence Mosley, Rev. Freddie R. Mosley Sr; one grandson Brandon Mosley and son-in-law E.J. Deboise.

He will be dearly missed and leave to cherish his memories his wife Annie Ruth; Ten children Tommy Jr (Francine) ,Elmarline Page, Apostle Timothy Mosley (Anitta), Almaline Mosley, Sidney Ann Deboise, Carolana Williams (Andrew), Caroline Mosley, Jeffrey Mosley, all of Dallas Texas; Stephanie Mosley El Dorado Arkansas, Tommy R. Mosley, Hot Springs Arkansas; stepson Tony Bluford Little Rock Arkansas; 24 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; Four Sis-in-Laws Marie Wesley, Mattie Bean, Rosie Rogan; Three Bro-in Laws Jessie Sledge, Roy Sledge and Ronnie Bluford; other relatives and friends.

 

A special “Thank You” to Brother Henry Moody, Minister Jimmy Nelson, The Oakridge Nursing Home facility and staff and The John R. Williamson Hospice House.
