Ruth Helen Ross-Johnson

Sister Ruth Helen Ross-Johnson was born March 31, 1954, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Ellen Smith and Freddie C. Ross Sr. She was a member of St James Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas.

On September 9, 2021, Ruth left this life to go to her final resting place at Medical Center South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Smith; her Husband, Verdie Johnson; two daughters, Kera Ross and Regina Johnson, all of El Dorado, AR; Sister, Arnita B. Ross, Kosciusko, MS.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Her father; Freddie C. Ross Sr. (Dollie) of Kosciusko, MS; four sisters; Renee Ross and Paulette Ross, both of Tallahassee, FL, Shelia Murry (McKeever) of Suisun City, CA; LaShai Martin (Don) of Kosciusko, MS, one brother, Freddie C Ross Jr. of Portland, OR; one biological son Jearamie D. Ross (Beverly) of Jacksonville, NC; two stepsons, Verdie L. Johnson (Angela) of El Paso, TX, Timothy V. Johnson (Yolanda) of Little Rock, AR; three stepdaughters, Valerie Murphy (Kenneth), Stacie Johnson (Clinton), and Magdalene (Cookie) Johnson all of El Dorado, AR; Seven grandchildren; Jerrick D. Woods and Jerrica DQV Gentle of El Dorado, AR, Marlon Moses Jr. (Vika) of New Bern, NC, Steven Moses (Taylor) of Adrian, MI, Kennethia R. Levingston (Montriel) of El Dorado, AR, Kiyonna Ross, and Kerian Parker both of Jacksonville, NC; 10 great-grandchildren, Two special cousins; Ida Faye Tidwell and Joyce Moody of El Dorado, AR. A host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.
