Russell Eugene Creer

September 15, 1967 — September 12, 2022

Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also, and whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:1-3

Russell Eugene Creer was born September 15, 1967, to the late Clarence E. Creer and Jerri D. Crayton.

Russell united with the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church at an early age before uniting with the Morning Star Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member until his death.

Russell was well-known throughout the trucking industry. Although he spent many long hours on the road, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working under the hood of his Chevy. But what he loved most was the pleasure of being "Pawpaw" and spending time with his grandchildren. Russell had a very kind heart with so much love to give.

Russell is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Creer, and stepfather, Jewel Crayton; grandparents, Prezell Creer and Essie D. Boone of Caledonia, Arkansas & Lenon and Birdie Lee Bradford of Smackover, Arkansas, as well as one sister, Michelle Reed of Arlington, Texas.

His memories will forever be cherished by his loving family; his mother, Jerri Crayton of Smackover, Arkansas, and eight children. Two sons, Sean (Karen) French of Eldorado, Arkansas, and Ryan Johnson of Smackover, Arkansas. As well as six daughters; Tamara (Courtney) Wilder of Cabot, Arkansas; Brittany Creer of Conway, Arkansas; Breyonna (Jerahmeel) Israel of Sherwood, Arkansas; Courtney Creer of Conway, Arkansas; Hannah Johnson and Fressa French of ElDorado, Arkansas. Two Brothers; Michael Beal of Arlington, Texas, and Kevin Creer of Eldorado, Arkansas. And three sisters; Casandra (Joseph) Hill of Lancaster, Texas, Sheryl Prier of Mansfield, Texas, and Jamiel Creer of Little Rock, Arkansas. And 13 Grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews, and a host of cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
