Roy Davis

Roy Milton Davis, 71, was born October 9, 1954, in Warren, Arkansas, to the late George and Cora Thomas Davis.

He married his beloved Sophia Clay in June 2020

Roy dedicated his life to Christ by joining Douglas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in June 2021.

He was a dedicated and committed employee at Walmart in El Dorado, Arkansas, for fifteen (15) years until his health began to decline.

For his pastime, Roy truly enjoys spending time with his friends in the St. Louis area of El Dorado, AR.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Cora Thomas Davis; his brother, Samuel Poole; and his sisters, Emma Davis, Laura Hill, and Corine Avery.

Left to cherish his memory: wife of five years, Sophia Clay Davis; bonus children: sons, Terry (Sharon) Fifer, Kenneth Clay, Justin Harris, and daughter Brianna Clay; brother, George Davis Jr; sisters, Ethel Davis, Tanya (Isaac) Adams; nephews, Levi Poole, Kerry Davis, Keatron Ridgell and Willie Avery; and nieces, Veronica Poole, Sonya Childs, Rosalyn Avery and Ebony Summerville, twelve grandchildren, and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
