Roslyn Hatter

November 27, 1964 — December 8, 2021

Sister Roslyn Williams Hatter, the youngest of eleven children, was born November 27, 1964, to George W. Williams and Trudy Lee Reed Williams in Macedonia, Arkansas. On December 8, 2021, she departed this earthly life at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Roslyn united with the El Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. She was a graduate of Junction City High school and South Ark Community College.

Roslyn married Rev. Patrick Hatter; through their ministry, churches were established, and souls were saved. Roslyn was a loving, kind soul with a great sense of humor who loved to teach the word of God. She was a friend to many and enjoyed spending time with her church family, who she called her "cross-eyed brothers and sisters. She loved her husband, children, and family.

Roslyn worked for the Department of Children's Human Services.

Though sickness afflicted her body, she was steadfast in her belief that God could deliver, but if not, her faith in God never wavered; even though God did not heal her on this side, he did deliver her into his presence forever to be with him.

Roslyn was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruby Davis and Bernell Morton, two brothers, Lonell Williams and Benny Williams, and her great-nephew Alston Andrews.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her husband, Rev. Patrick Hatter, two daughters, LeeNetta (David) Taylor of Junction City, D'Erra Talley of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Four Grandchildren, Ayden Taylor, Amela Hatter, Phillip Hatter, Gage Taylor, which was her pride and joy, five sisters, Geneva (Rev. Calvin) Daniels of El Dorado, Arkansas, Doylene (Jesse) Pitts, and Verneida Buggs of Three Creeks, Arkansas, Beverly Pitts of Bernice, La, Regina Gale (Lavelle) Tubbs of Salem, Arkansas, one brother Pastor George (Vera) Williams of Smackover, Arkansas. Special niece, Shawn Pitts Andrews, Erica Williams, Marquena Malone. Special nephews, Lachristopher Lacy, Dewayne Hill. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course; I kept the faith. 2Timothy 4:7
