At a young age, Richard dedicated his life to Christ and joined the St. John MB Church family.
He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1975 and devoted more than two decades of service to Ambercable.

In August 1976, Richard married Earnestine Williams, and together they welcomed a child into their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce Eutsey and James Robert McGraw; and three sisters, Annie Mae McGraw, Florida Burns, and Donna McGraw.
