Richard Snowden

Richard Lee Snowden entered this world on August 15, 1957, in El Dorado, Arkansas, as the beloved son of Rev. James McGraw and Ruth L. Snowden.

At a young age, Richard dedicated his life to Christ and joined the St. John MB Church family.

He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1975 and devoted more than two decades of service to Ambercable.

Richard deeply loved his family and was always eager to help those in his community, frequently offering rides as an Uber driver.

In August 1976, Richard married Earnestine Williams, and together they welcomed a child into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce Eutsey and James Robert McGraw; and three sisters, Annie Mae McGraw, Florida Burns, and Donna McGraw.

Richard departed this life on January 1, 2026, at Timberlane Health & Rehab.

He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his sons, Gregory Williams and Roderick Snowden of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Winfred McGraw of Waco, Texas, and Colton McGraw of El Dorado, Arkansas; and a sister, Angela Snowden of Camden, Arkansas. He is also lovingly remembered by his uncles, R.T. Goodwin of Smackover, Arkansas, and Theodis McGraw of Fresno, California; his beloved companion, Barbara Odems-Easter of El Dorado, Arkansas; special daughter, Felecia Miller of El Dorado, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren—including a special bond with La'Niya Stanley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
