Pateria Finley

Pateria Peterson Finley was born September 17, 1958, the third child to the late J.M. Peterson Sr. and Robbie Lee Davis. She departed this life on January 30, 2024, at Baptist Medical Hospital with her Children by her side.

Through the love and guidance of Hudson and Savannah Murphy. She became better equipped with God's word and could have an intimate relationship with God. One of her greatest testimonies was one Thursday; "I had a real encounter with the Lord and haven't turned back".

On December 25, 1978, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Finley and they were maried for 45 years.  The greatest joy in her life is her two children, Adriane Burgie, and Rasheem Finley, who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Gregory Slade, two sisters, Ava Johnson and Josie Thompson, and three brothers, Carl Jo Peterson, McKinley Peterson, and Sidney Davis, and nephew Frank Morris.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her  husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Godson/nephew, Robert Ford, Goddaughter/niece, Emma Doss, and three sisters, Barbara Peterson of El Dorado, AR. Ethel Johnson (Fredrick) of Dallas, TX, and Annie Ford of El Dorado, AR, one brother, J.M. Peterson Jr., three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Dale Johnson of El Dorado, AR, Chester Thompson of Russellville, AR, and Jerry Wayne Roberson, and her special friends, Rita Maxwell, Kathy McAlphin and Shirley Gray. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, church family, and friends.
