Palasteen Aubrey

Sis. Palasteen Aubrey passed on May 28, 2018 after nearly 94 years of devotion to her family and her firm belief in God. Sis. Aubrey was born July 13, 1924 in Minden, Louisiana where she lived until moving to El Dorado, AR and marrying her husband of 56 years. She was a faithful servant for many years at her husband’s churches (Mt. Superior & Antioch Baptist) and recently Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Lillie Lofton; husband, Rev. James Aubrey; sisters, Irene Crawford and Vera Jones; brothers, O.T., Odis and L.B. Lofton, and one grandson, Phillip Ruffin, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Ilene Whitaker of El Dorado, AR; grandchildren, Michele Jackson (Anthony), Philana Conley of Dallas, TX., Damon Ruffin (Stephanie) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Mackenzie Whitaker of Dallas, TX;  great-grandchildren, Kahlil Ruffin of US Navy (Melissa), Norfolk, VA., Kaarlo Conley of Dallas, TX., Xanica Ruffin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and Avery Jackson of Dallas, TX., and a great-great grandchild, Chance Ruffin of Norfolk, VA., and a host of other relatives and friends.
