Oriel Hardy

September 29, 1953 — June 2, 2022

Oriel Hardy was born September 29, 1953, to Ode and Fedoshia Hardy in Junction City, AR. Oriel attended Junction City High school. She later moved to Monroe, La, then to Alexandria, Virginia, and later back to El Dorado, AR. She was first a member of New Hope C.M.E church of Junction, AR. She later united with the Union Mission Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Mission department and the usher board department. She remained at Union Mission until her death.

She departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Mary Hardy; four brothers, Robert Meeks, Joe Hardy, George Hardy, and Charles Hardy. Two sisters, Dorothy Meadows, and Clara Hardy.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Steven Hardy (Latricia) of El Dorado, AR, and Two sisters Ruthell Thomas (Willie) of Haynesville, La, and Narvella Hughley (Bruce) of Middletown, Ohio. One brother Marcus Hardy ( Delois) of Monroe, La, Sister-in-Law, Sharon Hardy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends.
