Michael Dewayne Jackson

Michael Dewayne Jackson was born on June 18, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Mildred and Fred Jackson. He departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation Center in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Michael was employed for many years with Cross Roofing, where he was known as a hardworking and dedicated employee who took pride in his work. He enjoyed sports, cooking, and listening to music. He also cherished spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved daughter, Ja'Qunda, whom he affectionately called "Sugar."

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mildred Jackson, and his brother, Fred Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his daughter, Ja'Qunda "Newt" Jackson of El Dorado, Arkansas; his brother, Juan Jackson of El Dorado, Arkansas; his sisters, Jacenthia Robinson and Faith Jackson, both of Magnolia, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Michael's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
