Melvin (Melbo) Carter

Melvin “Melbo Goat” Carter was born to Merle Lee Carter on July 17, 1957, in Junction City, La.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and brothers Louis and McArthur Carter.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memories 6 brothers Billy (Gloria) Carter, Earl (Mary) Carter, James (Audrey) Carter, Bobby Carter, Gerald Carter, and William (Kim) Carter, three sisters: Mary Helen Carter, Cosette Carter, and Judy Carter. Special niece Taffany Carter, special cousins: Dean Robinson and Neketa Johnson, special friend Alpine Hunter, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends who will miss him dearly.

Public Visitation Friday, January 31, 2020, from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m., Sims Mortuary. Funeral Services Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at New Mount Union Baptist Church.
