McAuthur "Charlie" Carter

McArthur “Charlie” Carter was born to Merle Lee Carter on November 12, 1966 in Junction City, LA.  He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Louis Carter.

McArthur leaves to cherish his memories a son, Matthew Alexander Carter; a daughter, Kenetria Johnson; two grandchildren,  Jerkayden Jones and Jakayla Jones; seven brothers: Billy (Gloria) Carter, Earl (Mary) Carter, James (Audrey) Carter, Melvin Carter, Bobby Carter, Gerald Carter and William (Kim) Carter, three sisters: Mary Helen Carter, Cosette Carter and Judy Carter. A special niece Taffany Carter and special nephews: Roderick and Mario Carter, Carolyn Samuel mother of his son, and Danita Kelly a special friend, aunts and uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019, at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services 2:30pm Saturday, June 01, 2019 at New Mt. Union Baptist Church. Interment at Community Cemetery under direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook online at www.simsmortuary.com
