Marjorie Davis, fondly known as “Margie” by family and friends, was born September 6, 1958, to Robert Jackson and Annie Dell Jackson in El Dorado, Arkansas. She accepted Christ at an early age and graduated from El Dorado High School, Class of 1977.
On November 10, 2024, Marjorie transitioned at South Arkansas Regional Hospital in El Dorado, Arkansas. Marjorie is eternally united with her parents, Robert Jackson and Annie Dell Jackson; three brothers, Robert Jackson Jr., Jeff Jackson, and James Jackson; and two grandchildren, Ja’Tahj Thomas and Brianna Williams.
Marjorie’s precious memories will be cherished by her husband, Jimmy Davis; three children, Michael Bell, Eric Williams, and Tamekia Nelson; three sisters: Brenda Jackson of Atlanta, Ga, Cecelia Dunlap (Richard Dunlap), and Angela Jackson, both of El Dorado, Arkansas; three brothers: Calvin Jackson (Rosalind Jackson) of Camden, Arkansas, Terry Jackson (Frances Jackson), both of El Dorado, Arkansas and Kevin Jackson (Regina Jackson) of North Augusta, South Carolina. Grandchildren: Mikhaela Davis, Jessica Davidson, Jaranisca Simmons, Sierra Thomas, Kiara Thomas, Ariel Williams, Latarrio Williams, Kyia Williams and Krya Williams, Amertria Robinson, Ashanti Robinson, Czar Perry, and Bre’una Nelson, all of El Dorado, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
