Marilyn Monroe-London Phillips

June 7, 1954 — November 5, 2019

Born on June 7, 1954. In Oakland, California to the late Monroe London and Mary Lee Manning London. She was the second child out of five siblings. She had two sisters Syble Dismuke Henry & Beverly Strong Critton (deceased), two brothers Leo London and Anthony London both of Oakland, California. Marilyn accepted Christ at a very early age.

Marilyn was a devoted, humble, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and the greatest title she ever had was (Momma Marilyn to JeRiyah J). Her heart was just like the jewelry she loved to wear it was pure gold. Her family was her greatest accomplishment in life when she spoke about any of them her face would light up. Her facial expressions could fool you because she was a very humorous person that loved to laugh. She had a heart of pure gold and would help anybody that she thought was in need. She wouldn’t boast or brag about being kind to others because she knew that her reward was in heaven. The love she gave continues to flow through the family and friends that she cherished the most.

January 1, 1973, the great William Phillips Jr. & very happy Marilyn London made a vow before GOD that lasted for 41 years until William was called home to be with the LORD.

This Union brought about five wonderful blessings, three sons, Jimmy Burrell (Brooke), William Phillips III, Brandon Phillips (LaKeidra), two daughters Philepia Phillips Turner (Velle), & Kandi Williams.
