Maggie Winzer

Maggie Mae Winzer was born in Simsboro, Louisiana, on February 27, 1945, to the late L.T. Tibbs and Linda Mae Tibbs. She worked as a CNA until she retired. Maggie was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with all her soul. In addition to her love for the Lord, Maggie had a very creative talent for interior decorating. She could turn a plain room into a beautiful design. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and turning used items into a work of art. Maggie was a loving mother of nine beautiful children that she adored and loved so much. She attended the church of God in Christ in Arcadia, Louisiana. She was content and focused on taking care of her children alone until she met her night and shining armor, Calvin James Winzer, whom she married and cherished, a love that would last for more than 40 years. After spending many years in Arcadia, she later ventured out to Arkansas, where she became a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas, and was a dedicated member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas, until her health declined. Maggie leaves behind Nine children.

Preceding her in death are her parents, L.T. and Lena Mae Tibbs, and three sisters, Essie Burns, Jessie Land, and Olivia Abney.
