Lillie Moore

Lillie Mae Moore was born on March 22, 1934, to the late Layfatte Jones Sr. and the late Letha Bradley Jones. She received her heavenly wings on March 1, 2023.

Lillie accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion #2 in Urbana, Arkansas. She later united with New home Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. T.L. Green, where she served on the usher Board and was part of the Mission Society.

Mrs. Lillie received her education at the Mt. Zion School District.

Mrs. Moore was employed at Oak Ridge Nursing Home for numerous years and later was employed with the Medical Center of South Arkansas for many years. Lillie was united in Holy Matrimony to the Late O.C. Moore which 7 Children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, John Jones and Layfatte Jones Jr., two sisters, Daisy Sherman and Willie Mae Jones, one daughter Mae Jackson, and one granddaughter, Moneak Moore.

Her precious and loving memories will be cherished by her three son's Charles Moore of Junction City, AR, David (Lacie) Moore of Palestine, TX, and Lamontra Frazier of Desoto, TX; Four Daughters, Marcellia (John) Meeks of Junction City, AR, Shirley (Michael) Meeks of Junction City, AR, Donna Cheatham of Junction City, AR, and Ruby (Michael) Christian of El Dorado, AR, Two brothers Luther Jones, of Ashtabula, OH, Charlie (Pauline) Jones of Morrilton, AR, Sister Frances Payne of Morrilton, AR, 16 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, cousins, friends, and relatives who will miss her dearly.
