Lillian Criss

On Monday morning, June 22, 2026, Mrs. Lillian Criss said her farewell to her earthly life and entered eternal rest. She was born in 1950 to W.C. Ross and the late Ludie Mae Hildreth-Webb.

Lillian was truly the spice of life. She graduated from Northern High School in Flint, Michigan, in 1968. She was a dedicated employee of Albemarle Corporation, where she faithfully worked until her retirement. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and visiting the casino, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.

In 1975, she met the love of her life, Mr. J.C. Criss, and the two were united in holy matrimony, with her son Ronnie by her side. Their union was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Aries.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Johnson; her mother, Ludie Mae Hildreth-Webb; her brother, J.W. Ross; and two sisters, Stephanie Johnson and Sharon Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Aries Burgie (Justin); her father, W.C. Ross; two sisters, Shirley Wilkins (Sammie) and Karmen Thomas; two brothers, Craig Ridgell (Carrie) and Kelven Thomas (Mary); her grandchildren, Devien Cunningham (Angel), Jay Cohns, and Anaia Williams; her great-grandchildren, Makenlee Cunningham and Mahzi Cunningham; her dear friend, Mildred Morgan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
