Levern “LL” Wilson Gray

Levern "LL" Gray was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, to the late Pastor Troy Gray and Hazel Gray. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and remained faithful in his walk with God. Levern loved praising the Lord and never hesitated to share God's Word with others.

Levern graduated from Mount Holly High School with the Class of 1976. Throughout his life, he was a hardworking and dedicated employee, working for companies including Great Lakes, ConAgra, and Walmart, to name a few.

While working at ConAgra, Levern met the love of his life, Rosemary. They courted and were later united in holy matrimony. Through this union, Levern became a loving father who exemplified strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Family meant everything to him. He cherished spending time with family and friends while enjoying good food, listening to music, and creating lasting memories.

Affectionately known as "LL," Levern loved to dance and was well known for his impressive moves. He treasured the opportunity to meet Johnny Taylor, The Temptations, and T.K. Soul, memories he cherished throughout his life.

No matter how many words are written, they could never fully describe the remarkable man Levern was. He will forever remain in our hearts, and we will continue to cherish his memory and keep his name alive.

Levern leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving wife, Rosemary Gray; his children, Derrick Cargile, Lee Hayes, Catherine Hayes, Teresa Lee, and Evonne Gray; his sisters, Van Sanders (Terry) and Bridgette Hunter Gray; his niece, Terra Sanders; his nephews, Zack Sanders and Nick Sanders, who affectionately knew him as "Uncle Pooh"; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
