Ms. Leola Brown was born in Summerfield, Louisiana, on March 1, 1930, the daughter and fifth child of Claude and Sarah Brown. She departed this life to heaven on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Life Touch in
El Dorado, Arkansas.
Leola Brown was united in Holy Matrimony to Sheddrick Hay, was a devoted member of St. Vestal C.M.E Church in El Dorado, Arkansas, and found great fulfillment in cooking and her work as a caretaker for over 60 years for the Vestal and Garison Families.
Surviving are sister Laura M. Brown and sons John Mickey Hay and Doris Joe Hay, his wife.
Earnestine Hay, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends who will cherish the loving memories with her.
