Latricia White-Hardy

May 20, 1972 — April 9, 2026

El Dorado

On a beautiful, bright Thursday evening, Latricia Renee White-Hardy departed this earth and was freed from pain. Latricia was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Annie and Lonnie White.

Latricia was a very adamant person. She attended Barton Junior High and El Dorado High School, where she started her marching band journey. She started out on the snare drums, then the flag line, and next the cymbals. She loved playing in the band as well as watching.

In October of 1989, she received her greatest blessing. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Antisha Rena. She later had the chance to experience being a grandmother, and she loved her granddaughter, Naima Renee. Those two girls meant the world to her, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.

In 1996, Latricia was diagnosed with lupus and became a lupus warrior. She attended the lupus walks held in El Dorado every year. She fought a long and hard battle for 30 years.

In September of 2004, she married Steve Hardy, whom she loved dearly through sickness and in health, until death did them part.

Latricia was preceded in death by her father, L.C. White; her maternal grandparents, Annie B. Tubbs and Wilbert Tubbs; and her paternal grandparents, Beatrice Broadnax and Leo White.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Steve Hardy; her mother, Annie White; her daughter, Antisha Foster; her granddaughter, Naima Welch; three sisters, Lashunda White (Johnnie), Charlotte White (Darius), and Stephanie White (Kevin); one brother, LaQuan White (Jennifer); 11 nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; two best friends, Arlinda Shutes-Cooksey and Jeannie White-Furlow; and her cousin, who was like a sister, Sonya Moody-Clark.
