LaShonda Steward

Lashonda Steward was born July 31, 1983 in El Dorado, AR to Lee Steward and Vivian Gatson Steward. Shonda answered God's Call on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Preceding her in death are her Mother, Vivian; paternal grandparents, Rev. Percy and Rena Mae Steward; maternal grandparents, Jewel and Ruthene Gatson; and two uncles, Matt Steward and Alvin Earnest Gatson.

Shonda accepted Christ at an early age and united with Countyline Baptist Church. Later, she united with Zion Watch Baptist Church.

Shonda enjoyed playing bingo, reading, watching NBA basketball and movies, and visiting New Haven. She loved watching the QVC Channel and eating fried chicken, macaroni & cheese. She graduated from Spearsville High School.

Her memories will be cherished by her dad, Lee, and mother, Regina; two brothers, Brandon Steward of Longview, TX, and Ketric Holmes of Rockwall, TX; two sisters, Amayah Steward of El Dorado, AR; Courtney Steward of Little Rock, AR; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
