Kendel Dashun Williams

Kendel Dashun Williams, age 13, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Willis Knighton Hospital, in Shreveport, LA.

Kendel was born on March 13, 2006, in El Dorado AR, to Gary Paul Williams and Daklea Clarinda Rester. He was a quiet, studious child. Kendel was known by his family and friends to be happy, easy-going, smart, and solitary. He loved spending time with all his family and friends. He had a special bond with his baby sister, Tiana that could never be broken. He was a very respectful and responsible young man. Although Kendal didn’t get the chance to play, he loved football. Kendel had just finished his last year at Washington Middle School and was on his way to the 7^th grade. He loved to play video games (especially FORTNITE). Kendel attended church regularly with his sister at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado AR.

Kendel is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Kendel Williams Rester, Grandmother, Doris Marie Williams, Paternal Grandfather, Adell Miner, Grandmother, Darlene Miner.

Kendal is survived by his parents, Gary Williams and Daklea Rester; his brother, Malcolm Webster; three sisters, Tiana Williams, Brea Ford, and Natasha Myers; three nephews; Jamari Robinson, Tristan Turner, and Braylen Turner; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friends.

Public Visitation 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday August 2, 2019 at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m Saturday August 3, 2019 at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.
