KaSandra Latoya Gatson was born April 4, 1978, to the late Arthur Gatson and Barbara Gatson Howell in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a graduate of El Dorado High School. On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the Lord called KaSandra home for her eternal rest.

KaSandra accepted the Lord and united with Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She later joined Gentle Hands Ministries of Farmerville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Gatson; her husband, Sidney Coleman; grandfather, Lucas Gatson. Sr.; grandmothers, Gutherine Gatson and Peggy Modica; two aunts, May Bell Gatson, Cloreece Gatson; and one uncle, Levelle Gatson.

She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Destiny Gatson of Fayetteville, AR and Kenyanna Smith of El Dorado, AR; a God child, Aydenn Frazier; her mother, Barbara Gatson Howell and her stepfather Lynnwood Howell both of Magnolia, AR; two brothers, Elginald Renelius (Shekasha) Sims of Springdale, AR and Adrian Howell of Atlanta, GA; one sister Brianna Howell of Mansfield, TX; five aunts, Ealy Gatson of Chicago, IL, Leslie Winston of Bastrop, LA, Stephanie Coney(Kevin) of Chicago, IL, Tabatha Washington of Atlanta, GA, and Carol Modica Moore of El Dorado, AR; seven uncles, Lucas Gatson Jr(Gloria) of Fort Worth, TX, Mizell Gatson of Eldorado, AR, Seth(Loretta) Gatson, and Larry(Cynthia) Gatson both of Spearsville, LA, Chris(Janet) Gatson of Farmerville, LA, Christopher(Kathy) Modica of El Dorado, AR and Andrew Modica Jr. of Dallas, TX; three nephews, Adrian Howell Jr, Ethan and Elliot Sims; two nieces, Addison Sims and Ayla Howell, a special cousin Chazney Hinton; a very close family friend Kanye Tubbs,and a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
