John L Buffington AKA "buff" or "Skint Chicken" was born on March 19, 1950 in Mt. Holly, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tony & Mildred (Primm) Buffington, a brother Curtis Crayton, & granddaughter Destiny Divine Davis.
He united with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at an young age and later in life he attended Victory Church in EL Dorado, AR. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. John L departed his life on Tuesday July 30, 2019 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish two faithful ex-wives Lee Ester Buffington and Doris Young; a brother, Larry Buffington of Waldo, AR; two sons, Christopher Buffington of Mt Holly, AR and Scott Buffington of Dallas, TX; 4 daughters Clarissa Ward (Darryl) of Grand Prairie, TX; Cynthia Buffington of Minneapolis, MN; Katrina Hegler (Everett) and Tameka Buffington of EL Dorado, AR. thirteen grandchildren: Tylar Ward, Chris Buffington, Jr., Malik Buffington, Leann Buffington, Divante Marbray, Savionne Marbray, Everett Hegler, Jr., Chasity Buffington, Dorleshia Buffington, Journei Buffington, Keziah Norwood, Jamarious Buffington. 6 great grandchildren Jaden Buffington, Brayden Buffington, Braylei Buffington, Brooklyn Buffington, Honor Buffington, and Justin Buffington. Uncle Jewel Primm, one grandchild and two great grandchildren preparing to make their debuts. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. One buddy that Buff spoke of often and considered a friend-Smeed.
