Joe McMurrain

Joe Rufus McMurrain was born on July 28, 1964, in El Dorado, AR. To Ella and James C. McMurrain. Professed Christ at an early age. He graduated from El Dorado High School in May 1982. Upon completing high school, he entered the United States Army Reserves. He served until his honorable discharge in 1994.

For those who knew him, he was known to be the life of the party. An all-around jokester and a lovable guy. He showed up, helped everyone, and loved everyone. Every time you saw him, he had a smile on his face. Ready to do whatever was needed with no expectation of a reward.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Cather Ree Barnes, Joseph and Louise McMurrian, and his sister, Cecelia Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, James C. and Ella McMurrian of Urbana, AR, his wife Judy McMurrain of Little Rock, AR, two Brothers, Nicholas (Jamye) McMurrian of El Dorado, AR, Jerome (Melissa) McMurrian of Urbana, AR, Priscilla McMurrain of Little Rock, AR. Mother of Corinthia (Donny) McMurrian-Graham of Little Rock, AR, Corey McMurrian of Conway, AR, Christopher (Chiauna) McMurrian of El Dorado, AR, Chelsea McMurrain of Little Rock, AR, Jackie McMurrian daughter of Carolyn Jackson both of North Little Rock, AR. He leaves a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
