Jimmy Lee Whitlock

Jimmy was born on March 14, 1955, to Charlie and Nellie Whitlock in El Dorado, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Bailey Whitlock, his grandparents, Lee Smith and Leona Smith, his Parents and Five brothers, Nathaniel, Charlie Jr., David, Eugene Whitlock, and Theotis Summers, two sisters, Bettye Ford and Joyce McAlphin, one nephew Jerry Nelson, and one niece, Janice Gafford.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Santia (Donnie) Glenn, and Shanice Whitlock, two grandchildren of Texarkana, AR, one sister, Alice Braggs of El Dorado, AR, four nieces Deetra (Buddy) Canada of McKinney Texas, Kyna (Latodge) Booker of El Dorado, AR, Vickie (Ricky) Johnson of Calion, AR, and Tiffany McAlphin of Dallas, TX, four nephews Shawn Braggs, and Tony(Kathy) Nelson of El Dorado, AR, Damieon Nelson of Little Rock, AR, and Stacy Nelson of Dallas, TX. His Brother in law and very close friend Theodore Bailey of El Dorado, AR and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at Greater Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
