Jimmie Gray was born November 6, 1966, to Paula S. Gray and Jimmie Simmons in Rockford, IL.

Jimmie accepted Christ at the age of 10, where he united with the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Rockford, IL.

Jimmie attended West High School. His last place of employment was at Daniel Reap Car Dealership in Smackover, AR.

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, God called his servant home to rest in his arms.

Jimmie leaves his glorious memories to his two daughters: Dominique N. Gray of Smackover, AR, and Tashaela Gray of Rockford, Illinois. Two grandbabies: Aaliyah M. Gray and Jordyn B. Gray. His mother: Paula S. Watson (Leonard Watson) of Beloit, Wisconsin. Three sisters: Stephanie Gray, Tonnette Gray, Felicia Gray, all of Rockford, IL. One brother Ricky Watson of San Diego, California, three nephews: Maurice, Tevin, and Quinton. Two nieces: Ceara and Nicole. He also leaves a host of aunts, cousins, uncles, relatives, and friends.
