Jimmie Ann Barnes, age 76, was born July 7, 1947, to the late Lewis Washington and Bessie Marie Norman in Urbana, Arkansas.
Jimmie Ann departed her earthly life on September 15, 2023; she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age while attending Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church in Urbana, Arkansas. She later joined membership with First St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Talmage Dunwood.
Jimmie Ann was preceded in death by her husband, the late Eddie Lee Barnes, her parents, and three sons, Terry Reynolds, Fred Barnes, and Markeith Barnes.
Jimmie Ann leaves to cherish her memories daughters Comela Hunter and Latesha Burch; sons, Kelvin Barnes, Reginald, Kris Reynolds and Kenneth Burch, all of El Dorado, Arkansas; four sisters Omie Smith and Vanessa Hughes of Phoenix, Arizona, Pecola Murrell of Detroit, Michigan, Brenda (Michael) Philson of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, two brothers Willie(Carolyn) Norman, James (Shelia) Banks of El Dorado, Arkansas, three Sister's- in- love Bobbie Jean Reynolds, Effie Craig, Shelly (Larry) Davis, one brother- in- love Willie Reynolds, Special niece Tamara Norman, special granddaughter Jashunti Barnes, godson Armund Burns, twenty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, best friend Mrs. Annie Brock, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and extended family and friends.
