Jasper Joe White

Jasper Joe White was born on December 1, 1955, in Strong Arkansas to Augusta White and Costella Benton White.

He was a graduate of Strong High School.  He enlisted in the United States National Guard until he became disabled.  He later moved to Houston, Texas until his death.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his father, Augusta White; his brother, Andrew White; paternal grandparents, Garland and Annie Bell Williams White; maternal grandparents, Walter and Lena Henderson Benton.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son; Anthony Parker; daughter, Sharonda Parker – Blunson both of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Jayden and Mason; two brothers, James (Trena) White and Alvin White; five sisters, Pearl (James) Welch, Pauline Whitfield, Rose White, Gloria (Bill) Robinson, all of El Dorado, Arkansas, Dorothy Steward of Sherman, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2018 from 1-4pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:30pm at Pleasant Grove Church of God.
