Stepping Ashore

Oh! think to step ashore, and find it Heaven; to clasp a hand outstretched, and find it God’s hand! To breathe new air, and that celestial air; to feel refreshed, and find it immortality; ah, think to step from storm and stress to one unbroken calm; to awake and find it Home.

Jarrett James Bradford was born on July 29, 1981, to the union of James & Letri Bradford, III, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The second of three children, he was lovingly known as Jay.

Jarrett fulfilled his life-long dream of becoming a truck driver in 2013. He worked for Western Express, Jordan Trucking, and was employed with Martin Transportation, Smackover, Arkansas at the time of his death.

On February 14, 2015, Jarrett united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Angela.

Jarrett lived a very vibrant life. He loved his aquarium filled with fish, playing video games, and Jordan tennis shoes. Jarrett departed his earthly life on November 21, 2019, in Sumter, South Carolina.
