James Samuel

James was born October 15, 1957 to the late Issac and Pearlean, he worked at Calion Lumber Company for numerous years and also worked with KJ’S Portable Buildings and Haygood Neal Garden Apartment as a maintenance worker.

James met and later married Pamala Christian and added 3 children to this union, James was active in the U.S. Army 1976-1977.

James gave his life to Christ under the leadership of Rev. Robert Cunningham at Weary Rest B.C. in Marsden, AR, and later became a Deacon at Christ Missionary B.C. also under the leadership of Rev. Robert Cunningham. He later united with Union Mission Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Willis, where he was a faithful member until he became ill.

James is preceded in death by both parents Isaac and Pearlean Samuel, niece, Maria A. Miller, grandson, Neimario Edwards, and sister Lillie Puckett

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, JaMai Nycole Samuel of Little Rock, AR, and JaMonyc Samuel, Jacksonville, AR, son, JaMikio Samuel,  Camden, AR, sister, Loretta ( Hosea) Williams, Arlington, TX, brothers,  Isaac Samuel, Walter Lee (Kim) Samuel, El Dorado, AR, Billy Ray Samuel, El Dorado, AR, Michael Samuel, El Dorado, AR, Donald Ray (Pansy) Samuel, Hampton, AR, 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Longtime special friend, and family Celestine Daniels, along with 3 children and 4 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
