II Timothy 4:7 Brother James Willie (JW) McKinney was called home on June 21, 2021, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR. On March 26, 1942, JW McKinney was born in Mount Holly, Arkansas, to Mervilee Burton and James Willie McKinney. He united with New Hope Baptist at an early age. He married Geneva Marks, and in this union, two sons were born, Romondo and Anthony McKinney. At an early age, he moved to Oakland, California, and moved back to El Dorado, Arkansas, in November 2019 and remained until death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Marks McKinney. Mother Mervilee Carey, father Troy Carey, and James Willie McKinney. He leaves to cherish his memory Romondo and Anthony McKinney of California. Four sisters Mary Louise Cheeks of El Dorado, AR; Trenna Renee Minor (James) of Smackover, AR; Jackie McKinney of Chicago, Illinois and Cassandra Ross (Jerry) of Dallas, Tx. Five brothers Retired Sargent Major Johnny Carey (Jean), Jimmy Carey, Bobby James Carey, all of El Dorado, AR, Retired Master Sargent Horce Carey (Diana) of Kansas City, Kansas, Bobby Joe Carey of Oakland, California, two special aunts Mildred Miller of Detroit Michigan, Carolyn Carter of Peoria, Illinois. One Uncle E.C. McKinney of Moses Lake, Washington. A host of nephews & Nieces and other friends and relatives, and a very special nephew Vincent Fields.
