James Edward Harper was born on July 30, 1951, to Dorothy Jones Harper and B.H. Harper Sr.
James departed his earthly home on November 12, 2022.
James accepted Christ at an early age at Evergreen Baptist Church. He attended El Dorado School and joined the Army. He enjoyed writing poetry.
He was preceded in death by his mothers' Dorothy Gill and Susie M. Harper. Grandparents, Marie Brazil Savannah, Jessie Jones, Susie Hunter, Booker, and Irene Harper. Siblings, Linda, Lorraine, Irene, and Bruce Harper.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father, B.H. Harper Sr. of Lynwood, Ca, Four Sisters Susie Jeanette Glossom of Texarkana, Arkansas; Rosa (Wayne) Benton of Texarkana, TX, Mary Harper of Lynwood, Ca; Susie Harper of El Dorado, AR; one brother Sgt. First-class B.H. Harper Jr. of Shelbyville, Kentucky. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
