On December 30, 1966, James Wesley Hay was born to the late Fred and Earlean Kennedy Hay in Shreveport, LA.
At an early age, he joined Mt Sinai CME Church and served as a choir member.
He was a 1985 graduate of Summerfield High School.
After graduation, James began his work experience with Con Agra Poultry Company and later with Cooper Tire until the company closed in 2007. His last work experience was at Del-Tin, where he remained until his health began to fail.
He devoted his last days to cooking, fishing, and spending quality time with his great-nephew, Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Altoria Kennedy, and his paternal grandparents Jeff and Ruby Hay.
James entered eternal rest on March 12, 2021, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife and best friend Natasha Burrell Hay; three (3) sons, Wesley, Malicus, and Ja’Vonte (Crystal), all of Del-City, OK. One(1) stepson, Jalen McMurrian, and his Godson, Taylor Nagill Williams of El Dorado, AR. Six(6) sisters; Velma Cook and Debra Malone of El Dorado, AR; Elmira Hay of Haynesville, LA; Wanda Williams, Sharon Hay and Angela Hay of Bernice, LA; His beloved mother-in-law, Harriett Johnson(Granny) and a special niece, LaDonna Cook both of El Dorado, AR.
His legacy and namesake will continue to live on through his nine (9) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
