Inelma Dixon

March 5, 1942 — January 26, 2020

Inelma Shelton Dixon was born on March 5, 1942, to the late Alex Shelton and Nealie (Rogers) Shelton.

She was a graduate of Gardner Strong High School. Inelma had a love for sewing and made clothing for her family, friends, and community for years. She had a genuine love for children and was dedicated to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She united in marriage to the late Clarence (C.L) Dixon on July 27, 1965. Their unity brought forth four children, the late Archie Lee Dixon, Jerome Dixon (Strong, AR), Erica (LaShaunda) Dixon (Maumelle, AR), and. Demetric Antonio Dixon (Strong, AR). From this family circle, a new generation of five grandchildren transpired to cherish her memories of love and laughter. Lorenzo Dixon (Harrell, AR), Austin Daniels (Maumelle, AR), Victoria Dixon (Strong, AR), Candace Dixon (Crossett, AR), Jadarius Dixon (Strong, AR), and Justinian (Pinky). One Sister Iteria Dixon and three brothers, Benny Shelton, Lawrence Shelton, and Alex Shelton. She also leaves a loving circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a dedicated Care-giver Lucretia Banks.

Public Visitation Friday, January 31, 2020, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Sims Mortuary, Funeral service Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Curry Chapel AME, Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook at simsmortuary.com
