Hosea Bell Levingston

Mr. Hosea Bell Levingston was born August 18, 1959 in El Dorado, AR to Elvis Levingston and Lou Ella Kidd.

Mr. Levingston accepted Jesus Christ and he worked faithfully in the Brotherhood Program and advancing to Deaconship at Evergreen Baptist Church under Pastor Eddie Yarbrough Jr.  

In June 2000 Mr. Levingston joined with his niece Pastor Erma Jackson to help start Faith in the Word Christian Center, later becoming the Pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Stephens, AR.

Feb 20, 1981 he united in matrimony to Dorothy Sanders.  Their union was blessed with 5 children.  He was very active in the community through coaching Pee-Wee football form numerous years.  He mentored, rendered guidance and advise for everyone as much as possible.  His influence will forever remain in our hearts.

He quietly departed on May 4, 2019 at the Medical Center of South AR where he will unite with his mother; Lou Ella Kidd, stepfather Leon Ford, and father Elvis Levingston.

His life will forever be cherished by his wife Dorothy Levingston (El Dorado, AR) 5 children: Dennis Tubbs Jr. (El Dorado, AR), LaQuita Malone (El Dorado, AR) Louella Levingston  (Little Rock, AR), Latrice Levingston (Little Rock, AR), Tammie Levingston (Atlanta, GA) and grandchildren, Dennis Tubbs III, Charaveon Tubbs, Alexis Levingston-Tubbs, Demarea Levingston, Kyliee’r Norman, Jadien Levingston, Dayetin Levingston, D’Kayne Tubbs, Braylin Levingston, Brandon Levingston, Maddison Levingston, Chesnee Owens, D’Maurius Tubbs, Jaycen Newton, Egypt Tubbs, Takabi Vanhook, Zailyern Levingston,
