Glynn Morris

Glynn Marcus Morris passed away on September 25, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at Baptist Health Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1955, in Junction City, Arkansas.

A proud graduate of Junction City High School, Class of 1972, Glynn carried the spirit of his hometown with him throughout his life. He represented the Dragons everywhere he went. Known to many by his nickname "JunkYard Dog" due to his strength and the effort he put into his work. He was recognized for his smooth talk and laid-back demeanor. Glynn was well-known and respected by many.

Glynn had a deep appreciation for the thrill of the open road and the freedom of the outdoors. Whether behind the wheel of a fast car, motorcycle, or riding four-wheelers, he embraced every opportunity for excitement. Glynn was skilled at the trade of painting and made a career out of it. He worked at Prescolite, Ensco, and Pumps & Power. All while doing business for himself, painting on the side.

On March 22, 1985, he was united in marriage to Bridgette Thomas.

Family remained at the heart of Glynn's life. His greatest accomplishments were his children, whom he frequently bragged about. His children lovingly remember him: Keith Morris of El Dorado, AR, Chris Morris of El Dorado, AR, Connie Brown-Elliott (Ron) of El Dorado, AR, Nikki Morris of Conway, AR, Marcus Morris (Tiara) of El Dorado, AR, and Cotinna Johnson (Michael) of Sherwood, AR. His Sisters: Ollie Buffington (Otis) of Detroit, MI, Linda Williams of Grand Rapids, MI, Rose Morris of Grand Rapids, MI, and Carolyn Fields of Los Angeles, CA, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Their lives reflect the strength and enduring legacy he leaves behind.

Glynn now reunites with his father, Jeremiah Morris; his mother, Winnie Morris; his brothers, Jewel Morris and Jerry Dee Morris; two sisters, Jerline "Jerri" Johnson and Sandra Warren; two sons, Romara Morris and Shannon Morris (Sheree); and two grandchildren, Sharmaine & Chauncey Brown. Their memories continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

May Glynn's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life lived with passion and purpose.
