Gloria Jean Moore was born on January 11, 1952, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to the late A.G. Moore and Johnnie Mae Moore. She graduated from El Dorado High School with the Class of 1970 and dedicated 32 years of faithful service to Pilgrim's Pride. Gloria was a devoted member of New Olive Branch Baptist Church, where she faithfully worshiped and served alongside her church family.
Known for her quiet strength and witty sense of humor, Gloria was a loving and devoted mother whose kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. She cherished her family deeply and found great joy in spending time with those she loved.
On August 31, 2026, God called Gloria home to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.G. Moore and Johnnie Mae Moore; her eldest sister, Shirley Thomas; and her brothers, Howard Jackson (Mary), Mack Tatum, and Keon Jackson.
Gloria leaves to cherish her precious memory her three daughters, Tasha Roberts (Nick), Veronica Frazier, and Kimberly Miller; seven grandchildren, Rayshaad Frazier (Alexcia), Donovan Walter, Jackie Washington, Jessica Pitts, McKenzie Pitts, and two others; two great-grandchildren, Erias Stevens and Asher Washington; one brother, Ray Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Though Gloria's earthly journey has ended, her love, faith, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will always be treasured, and her presence will be deeply missed.
