A Godly Life was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday November 25, 2018 in Hot Springs, AR. Mrs. Frances Shutes was born to the late Rushie and Jacob Davis in Huttig, AR.
She united with New Olive Branch Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR where she remained a member until her health failed. She attended High School in Strong, AR. She was married to Earnest Lee Shutes and to this union were three children, Cadice Davis, Wanda Fay Jackson (Joe) and Earnest Bernard Smith.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, two sisters, a brother and son.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Earnest Lee Shutes; three sisters, Linda Neal of El Dorado, AR, Mary Mooring of Detroit, MI and Grace Davis of Oakland, CA; two brothers, James Allen Davis of Huttig, AR and Freddie Lee Davis of Oakland, CA. and two grandchildren, Latoya Jackson Wilson, and Treymond Smith.
Public visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 1-5pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 11:00am at New Olive Branch Baptist Church.
