Floyd “Bookie” D’Angelo Davidson

November 9, 1979 — March 2, 2021

Floyd D'Angelo Davidson affectionately known as “Bookie” was born November 9, 1979 in El Dorado, AR to Dorothy J. Cargile and Floyd L. Davidson.

Bookie moved to Los Angeles CA in 1981 at age 2. He is credited with  later finding what is now the “Family Church” First Corinthians C. B. C. Bookie accepted Christ at an early age and was actively involved in the Youth Dept. Bookie graduated from Washington  High School. In 1999 Bookie married the love of his life Sheneeka Davidson and from this union have four children. Bookie later became a Semi-Truck Driver. He and Sheneeka moved to Illinois where he was  able to purchase his first home and start his own business in the Trucking industry. Bookie was a God fearing man who loved his family. He was a member of International Churches of Word Center in Los Angeles, CA. Bookie prioritized taking care of his family and he enjoyed leisure activities in travel, motorcycling, & supporting his children in their academic and sporting endeavors.  You could always rely on Bookie to “Show Up” for his family. From Birthdays to Funerals whether it was West Coast, South, or Midwest he seemed to always be “Present” for his family when it really counted. He adored being “Pa-Pa” to Analia.

Bookie departed this life on March 2, 2021 and leaves to cherish his memory Wife SheneekaDavidson, Plano IL, Four Children: Ashley Calloway; San Luis Obispo, CA, Bandon Davidson (Briseida); Plano, IL, Corrine Davidson and Dion Davidson; Plano, IL. Granddaughter Analia Nevarez-Davidson; Plano, IL Mother Dorothy Cargile; Hawaiian Gardens, CA, Father Floyd Davidson; Smackover, AR, Mother-in-Law Bonita Hamid; Wilmington, CA, Oldest brother Leonard “Bernard” Langley; Bakersfield, CA, Younger brother Julius Davidson; Dallas, TX, Brother-in-Laws Hamidu Hamid and Haleem Hamid; Wilmington, CA and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and Colleagues.
