Eula Mae Cook was born September 12, 1936 in Summerfield, LA to Willie B. Davis Coggins and Eddie D. Levingston. She departed her life October 6, 2018 at Oakridge Nursing Home.
At an early age she accepted Christ at First Baptist Church Cordell under the leadership of Rev. Johnson. She served in the Choir and the Women Auxiliary.
In her early years she worked at Dixie Maintenance and Medical Center of South Arkansas and for the late J.S. BeeBe.
She is preceded in death by her father Eddie D. Levingston; two sisters, Eva Nell Buggs and Gloria Coggins –Tatum; two brothers, James Frazier and John Levingston.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Willie Bell Coggins; five sons, Mickey Jo Murphy, Billy James Murphy Jr., Patrick J. Murphy, Kenneth Murphy (Valerie) and Cedric Cook all of El Dorado, AR; three sisters, Annie P. Moore (James) of El Dorado, AR, Carolyn Morris (James) of El Dorado, AR, Willie Mae Davis of El Dorado, AR; two brothers, Willie Ray Coggins and Woodrow Coggins both of El Dorado, AR; 10 grandchildren, Ahmad Murphy, Chotsie Murphy, Diaz Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Amanda Cunningham, Kendricks Hayes, Nicole Hayes, Tara Jackson, Cekendre’ Cook and Cedrick Rashad Cook; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 and the family hour from 6:00 -7:00 pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church Cordell with Rev. Pierce Moore, officiating.
