Eugenia C. Ford

Eugenia Carol (Boulden) Ford was born Sunday, February 5, 1961, to Myrtis Battle (Boulden) and the late Albert Boulden. Eugenia departed her earthly home on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Eugenia was a very active member of First Baptist Church-Cordell as a child and into adulthood. She later became a member of Greater Paradise, where she attended until her sudden departure.

Eugenia received her education in El Dorado, AR. She was a PROUD graduate of the best class ever, 1979, where she was on the peppette squad and a member of the Freakie Deakies. She continued her education at Southern Arkansas University, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a Minor in Psychology. While attending SAU Fall of 1980, she became a devoted member of Alpha Angels.

On May 14, 1983, Eugenia married Chester Ford (Babe). During this union, Nadia and Cheston Ford were born.

Eugenia was a loyal employee of the Union County Department of Human Services as a DCFS Caseworker for 28 years. Then became a Supervisor for Ouachita County for four years. She retired for a short period of time and returned to Union County as a Caseworker for six years. After touching many lives for 38 years, she decided it was time to retire and enjoy family and friends.

Eugenia was known throughout the community for her kindness, truth, and, most of all, her love for God. She was a Loyal Wildcat Fan. She was known for being a supporter of T-shirts, Books, Jewelry, etc. She made sure she was there for whomever whenever she could. She loved to shop til she dropped. Lastly, she loved dancing and fellowshipping with family and friends.

Eugenia is preceded by her father, Albert Boulden. Her brothers, Albert Craig Boulden and Jerome Kurt Boulden. Her maternal grandparents, Mr. Clifford Battle, and Ms. Ossie Autry. Her paternal grandparents Mr. Willie and Mrs. Adell Booker and Wilma Booker. Her maternal great-grandmother, Ms. Nannie Tuggle, and paternal great-grandfather, Mr. Gus Booker. Her Uncle William C. Battle.

Eugenia leaves with precious memories her husband (Babe), Chester Ford, of 39 years. Daughter, Nadia Ford. Son, Cheston Ford. Grandchildren, Nathan Ford and Ca'Moni Ford (Girly Girl). Her sister, Lisa Boulden Jamerson. Her loving mom, Myrtis Kirk. Sister-in-Law Dorothy Boulden. Her Niece/ Daughter, Iyesshia Boulden. Nieces Shanque Jamerson and Alexis Crayton. Her Nephews Damon Henry (NeeNee), Brandon Jamerson, and Jerome Boulden II (J2). Her great nephews Javen Miller, Bryson Boulden, Jayden, and Hakeem Crayton. Her great nieces, Jada Williams, Breyonia Jamerson, Arbree Crayton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
