Eileen Jackson

September 30, 1951 — February 8, 2023

Eileen Jackson, Also known as our Nanna, was born September 30, 1951, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Willie Jackson and Thelma Jackson. Eileen transitioned on February 8, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Eileen attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Eileen had many jobs but retired from El Dorado Paper Bag after 37 years.

She loved to travel, watch football, and drink her cokes; she also liked going to the casino and playing deuces wild with her family. Everyone that knew Eileen knew she would speak her mind. She also loved listening to Keith Sweat. Eileen's favorite food was Laila's Buttermilk pies and pork chop casserole.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Willie and Thelma Jackson, one granddaughter Victoria Smith, and four brothers, Victor Jackson, Harold Jackson, James Willie Jackson, and Clarence Jackson. Four sisters Marylee Jackson, Beverly Jackson, Francis Jackson, and Zola Smith; one niece Greta Jackson; two nephews, Michael Payne, and J.D. Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories to her son Alonzo Jackson (Taji) Jackson, daughter Brittney Tate (Victor Smith), two brothers Lawrence (Anita) Jackson Edgar (Geraldine) Jackson, five grandchildren Dominique Jackson, Destiney Jackson, Bria Jackson, Laila Jackson, and Skylar Smith. Three great-grandchildren, Camden Jackson, Caden Jackson, and Ayanna Gilbert, special friend Monica George, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Eileen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We love you, Nanna; you're one of a kind.
