Brutally honest, amazingly sweet, and naturally lovable. A few truths that melted your heart when you met knew and loved Mrs. Eddie Susie Davis, born on September 15, 1938, to the late Roy McDuffie and Vashti McDuffie.
She graced this earth with a spirit that will remain with her siblings, Lizzie Hickman and Jean Barnes, her children Michael Alderson (Brenda), Franklin Davis, Eric Davis, Lisa Davis (Titus), as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Hosie McDuffie, Ray McDuffie, Arthur McDuffie, Barry McDuffie, Sisters, Janice McDuffie, Linda McDuffie, son, Terry Alderson, and daughter Benita Davis. She displayed her strength and her spirit until her last breath on August 14, 2021.
Eddie S. Davis was an active member of New Bethel Baptist Church and a dedicated worker for Dixie Maintenance for many years until her retirement from ECCEL Daycare. Some of her passions were watching Soap Operas, drinking coffee, and making sure her family stayed close-knit as she was the backbone of this family and the glue that held us all together. As we celebrate the life of Eddie Susie Davis, keep in mind and heart that she suffers no more and she’s peacefully resting.
