Sis Earlie Teen Burgie Brown's life journey began on July 1, 1932, born to parents Ervin and Irene Goodwin Burgie in El Dorado, Arkansas. Her life journey ended on Monday, October 10, 2022, at The Springs of El Dorado in El Dorado, Arkansas.

She united with Morning Star Baptist Church #2 at an early age under the leadership Of Rev. H.G. Goodwin and remained a member until her death. Sis Brown loved the Lord and her family, and she did not mind telling you what she felt!! She was an avid worker in the church and held several positions for many years. Sis. Brown gave her hand in marriage to Jewel Brown, and they were blessed with one child Willie J. Brown.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, Wille Scales, Samson, Jhue, and Jack Burgie, four sisters Rosie Lee Hall, Arizona Amos, Adessa Carter, and Arma Jean Nunley, and several nieces and nephews.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her son Willie J. Brown of El Dorado, Arkansas, and two sisters, Naomi Russell ad Bertha Wilkins both of San Angelo, TX. Six grandchildren, Bianca Murphy and D'Angelo Brown, both of El Dorado, AR; Destiny Hill of Little Rock, AR; and Ny'Isha Miller, Zy'Isha Miller, and Braylon Miller, all of El Dorado, AR. Five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special Friends Lillie Rogers, Ethel Smith, Jean Burns, and special Goddaughter Jamie Bennett.
